Born in France and raised on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Valerie furthered her education in the US mainland and then returned to the islands to pursue her professional career in the Tourism industry. Degrees to include a Bachelor’s in International Business and a Master’s in Tourism Management.

Resourceful, creative, organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet budgets and deadlines. She is committed to excellence and maintaining high standards in all endeavors under taken.

Valerie is the Director of Marketing and Events at Coral World Ocean Park and the local representative for Resort Informatin Inc,
 
Past Experience,
As General Manager and Director of Sales for Events Caribe, St. Thomas.
Valerie oversaw the day-to-day Business Operations of the Virgin Islands’ division of Patti Coons and Associates Special Events Company based out of Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities included Event Design & Development, Sales & Production, Budget & Forecast, Product Inventory, Purchasing, Staffing, and the list goes on…

Through her experience as Convention Service Manager at the Frenchman’s Reef Marriott, St. Thomas and the Westin Resort St. John. Valerie has directed, organized, coordinated and executed countless successful group and local programs. As well as formal galas, fundraisers, product launches, fashion shows and other social events. Well versed in research, development and implementation of all convention planning aspects.
